There is no snow in the penguin exhibit at Audubon Aquarium of the Americas! Don't be surprised...there are 17 species of penguin in the world and just two of them live in the Antarctic. Want to learn more about these amazing creatures? You will when you visit the Aquarium!

An exhibit designed for fun and exploration, Adventure Island is an action-packed interactive play zone designed to give everyone from the small fry to the captain a day of fun and learning. Admission to Adventure Island is free with paid Aquarium admission.

Experience this new adventure which offers exhibits to crawl on, climb in, sit on and touch. The highlight of the exhibit is a 2,600-gallon pool where visitors can touch the cownose rays. You can help feed them during their feeding times too!

The wonders of nature are magnified at Entergy IMAX® Theatre, where larger-than-life adventures explode with the help of the world's most advanced motion picture technology. Entergy IMAX® Theatre is located next door to Audubon Aquarium of the Americas, and is one of only six in the world with its spectacular flat screen, single projection, IMAX® 3D and high-definition capabilities.

Visitors are immersed in images of unsurpassed size, clarity and impact. Sounds are enhanced by a specially designed six-channel, multi-speaker sound system. The silver screen in the Theatre is five-and-a-half stories tall. The film used in IMAX® is the largest in the world. It is ten times the size of standard 35-millimeter film. All of this makes for an in-your-face entertainment extravaganza at the IMAX® Theatre.
