Experience ECHO at the Leahy Center for
Lake Champlain - Vermont's premier lake aquarium and science center on the
Burlington Waterfront. ECHO shares the stories of the Ecology, Culture,
History and Opportunities of the Lake Champlain Basin to foster
stewardship of the Basin and its precious resources.
The award-winning "green" building is set on upon the shores of
beautiful Lake Champlain. Featuring over 60 species of Animal Ambassadors
- live fish, reptiles and amphibians, scores of educational and
interactive exhibits, major traveling exhibitions, and the multimedia
Awesome Forces Theater. A series of special touring exhibits are showcased
in the changing exhibit gallery three times a year.
