Overview:

Kennedy Space Center is America's busiest launch and landing facility. Here you can witness the entire process, from the extensive preparation work, to an earth-shaking launch, to a breathtaking landing.

The Visitor Complex Admission at the Kennedy Space Center is a world renowned tour, where you explore the Visitor Complex to see awesome NASA facilities, including the massive launch pads, the gigantic Vehicle Assembly Building and the awe inspiring Apollo/Saturn V Center.

The Tours includes NASAs Launch Headquarters, both IMAX films, all shows and exhibits and a visit to the Astronaut Hall of Fame. The tour includes stops at the four story LC-39 observation gantry where guests get a bird's eye view of the space shuttle launch pads and parts of the world's busiest space launch facility.

Another stop on the tour is the acclaimed Apollo/Saturn V Center, where guests walk beneath a massive Saturn V rocket, relive Neil Armstrong's first steps on the moon and experience the thunderous rumble of a Saturn V moon rocket lift off. Later, you can take a trip to the International Space Center where you see real parts of the space station being readied for Launch!

TOUR DETAILS:
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex Admission

Operating Times: Daily from 9am to 5:30pm. Closed on Christmas Day and certain launch days. The Astronaut Hall of Fame is open from 9am to 6:30pm. Bus Tours start at 10:00am and run continuously every 15 minutes. Last tour departs at 2:15pm. Operating hours for Dec 26-30 are 9am to 7pm. Hall of Fame hours are 9am to 8pm.

Duration: 2- 3 hours

Booth Location: The Visitor Complex is located just to the west on 405, between Range Rd. and E Ave SW., Orsino, FL 32899 Using MapQuest or MSN Maps, use the city "Orsino", and the state "FL"

Nearest Intersection: The Visitor Complex is between Range Rd. and E Ave SW.

Age Requirements: Child Ticket: 3-11 yrs

Notes: Kennedy Space Center is a working Space Launch facility. Tours may be altered or closed due to operational requirements. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Complimentary wheelchairs and strollers are available at the Visitor Complex. Digital audio guides in English, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, German, French and Portuguese are available for $6 +tax rental charge. Free Kennel service is provided for pet owners. Security Information: Due to the military action being taken abroad, KSC Visitor Complex has increased security on property. As of this time, the following items are not permitted at the Visitor Complex: Fire arms of any type (with or without a permit), Ammunition (live or spent) Pepper/mace sprays Any other sharp/pointed items, including pointed scissors or nail files. Additionally: Coolers, luggage or other large bags are not permitted through the front gate. All bags, purses and other items will be opened and inspected at the Visitor Complex. (Procedures to search all bags carried into the complex by visitors & employees are actions taken as part of the increase in security and not part of a specific threat to our facilities.) All electronic devices such as digital cameras, MP3 players, mobile/cellular phones, video recorders, voice recorders and pagers must be in working condition before entering the complex. Devices that cannot be powered on, broken devices or devices without properly charged batteries will not be permitted through the front gate. Stand alone GPS equipment is not permitted on property. ON LAUNCH DAY, BACKPACKS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON PROPERTY.
