What is a Segway? A Segway is:

Overview:

The Legends and Lore Tour is a scary, fun, and informative experience that is truly one of a kind. Hear about Atlanta's most sinister characters and haunted happenings from the famous to the not so famous. The journey will take you on a spine tingling trip through downtown Atlanta from Centennial Olympic Park to the Capitol and all points in between.

This tour will give you a look at the City of Atlanta's darker side as we share local anecdotes and legends. This tour will roll through Fairle-Poplar District in downtown and down Peachtree Street where tales of local legends are told. Then on to Georgia State University to hear about ghosts that haunt the campuses of Atlanta.

City Segway Tours is a thrilling and one of it's kind way to see a city, as well as a great opportunity to experience how much fun Segways are to operate.

TOUR DETAILS:
Legends and Lore Segway Tours of Atlanta

Operating Times: Daily at 6:00 pm from February 15th - December 30th. Closed Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas Days.

Duration: 2 hours

Booth Location: 250 Park Ave. West, NW Ste 105, Atlanta, GA 30313. Located in the Luckie Marietta District. (Adjacent to Centennial Olympic Park )

Nearest Intersection: Luckie St, NW and Baker St. NW

Age Requirements: All riders must be at least 12 years old to participate. No children under 12.

Notes: Reservations are required. Recommend making reservations 5 days in advance of desire tour. Tours sell out quickly and are limited to 8 guests with 1 guide. Cancellation Policy: 72 hours prior to tour. The Segway is appropriate for virtually anyone 12 years and older. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Riders will practice on the Segways until everyone feels comfortable and is ready to conquer the city. Pregnant women and any participant suspected of being under the influence of alcohol will not be permitted to ride. Participants younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult who is 18 years or older (to sign liability and damage waivers). Each party must also complete a damage waiver that includes a deposit of US$500 on a credit card. This charge is immediately cancelled at the end of the tour. Don't bring too many belongings with you. The Segways are equipped with very small bags for cameras and small purses.
