This Advanced tour is a blast. To operate the advanced tour safely there are specific guest requirements:
bullet Guests on this advanced tour must have taken a Segway Tour (in SF or in another city- not a 5 minute test ride - a full 1 + hour tour) in the last 12 months. This is not a beginner tour or appropriate for guests with mobility issues
bullet All guests must be able to easily and quickly step on and off the Segway without any assistance, which requires physical abilities similar to climbing and descending stairs without assistance or use of a handrail
bullet This tour is more strenuous than the other San Francisco Tours. Do not book this tour if you don't want to ride up and down hills or tire easily. You will be standing for 2 hours
bullet Ages 12 years old and up only
bullet Guests must weigh a minimum of 100 pounds and not over 250 pounds. (45 to 113 kilos). Weight and age restrictions will be strictly enforced

Operating Times:
Departs daily Spring, Summer and Fall | April until Oct: 10:30 am | Winter: Nov - Mar: 3:00 pm departure daily | Closed on Christmas and New Years Day.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time to check in and start your tour and training on time.

Duration: 3 hours

Booth Location: Tours depart from the rear parking lot at 757 Beach Street, San Francisco, CA 94133. Near the corner of Hyde St. Located across Beach Street from the Hyde Street Cable Car turnaround in Fisherman's Wharf.

Nearest Intersection: Hyde and Beach Streets

Parking: Anchorage Shopping Center: 500 Beach St | San Francisco, CA 94133 | 2 blocks East of Segway's location on Beach St

Ghirardelli Square Garage | 900 Northpoint St | San Francisco CA 94109 | Garage entrance is on Larkin St between Beach St and North Pint St | 1 1/2 blocks West of training location.

Age Requirements: Ages 12 and up only.

Notes: Reservations are required 3 day in advance of desired tour date | Training/refresher rider course for the advanced tour is 20-25 minutes. Total time with training is 2 1/2 - 3 hours | | No parking is available on site | No refunds for guests that ignore the rider requirements | If you arrive late you will NOT join a tour group that has already started training - Safety and complete training for all guests is the 1st priority | No pregnant guests | No high heels, sandals or flip flops | This tour subject to a minimum of 4 guests. Groups will be combined.
