Sedona's colorful Red Rocks have long been an inspiration to artists, filmmakers and visitors. Begin today with a stop at Montezuma's Castle, one of the best preserved prehistoric Indian cliff dwellings in North America. Also see ancient cliff dwellings and pueblos of the Sinagua Indians. Once thought to have been constructed by the Aztec emperor, Montezuma, these dwellings were home to a small group of Native American farmers.

Next, it's on to the beautiful Sedona area with a visit to the Chapel of the Holy Cross. Set between two huge red sandstones, learn about the building's artistic design with spectacular views of red rock formations.

You'll then travel into the heart of Red Rock country in uptown Sedona to spend time browsing the many galleries and shops. Relax and have a bite to eat at one of the many wonderful restaurants or cafes.

Return to the Valley between approximately 5:30-6:30pm.
