orientation, informative historical and current-day information, heaps
of unique and fascinating stories, fantastic photo ops, superb
personal service from your guide and an opportunity to ride the
coolest machine in the world - the Segway!
What
is a Segway?
 |
Easy to use and
operate, the two-wheeled Segway sports high-tech gyroscopes that
automatically respond to your body's movements, "sensing" when it
should speed up and slow down. |
 |
You stand on a small
platform between left and right wheels as you hold onto handlebars
at a comfortable waist height. The Segway handles the balancing
for you, so that you're always upright as you glide through any
environment. |
 |
Designed to operate in
any pedestrian environment. It's new, it's cool, safe and easy to
use, plus a ton of fun! The perfect way to see the Bay City.
|
A San Francisco Segway Tour is a
one-of-a-kind way to experience the City By The Bay! If boarding a
buggy, climbing aboard a cable car, or ferrying through fog sounds nice,
but rather traditional, a San Francisco Segway Tour is a whole new way to
appreciate the beauty of the city by the bay!
As the world's first and only self-balancing electric transport mechanism,
the Segway Human Transporter has set a new standard for sightseeing fun!
Unlike a bicycle, the Segway does not have to be moving to balance. When
the Segway is powered up it automatically balances itself. You will be
totally comfortable standing on the two wheeled machine, after riding it
for only a few minutes, and completely ready to operate the Segway after
the informative, hands-on training!
Fun for individuals, families or groups! It's the transportation of the
New Millenium! You'll all agree that Segway-ing is the best way to explore
the San Francisco waterfront!
