The Florida Aquarium:

	The 200,000-sq-ft air conditioned Aquarium tells Florida's unique water story as it follows a drop of water from its underground source to the open sea.
	Over 20,000 aquatic plants and animals, both native to Florida and from all over the globe, are showcased here.
	The Florida Aquarium focuses on the aquatic habitats and ecosystems of Florida and around the world. The diversity of the state's aquatic life is displayed in this facility, which is not only an Aquarium, but also an aviary and botanical garden!
	Daily Penguin Promenades at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. in the no borders, no barriers, no acrylic encounter. Guests experience a unique opportunity to come face-to-face with African Black-footed penguins!

Galleries Galore:

	Wetlands - Explore Florida's freshwater environments, including springs, streams, marshes, rivers, and mangrove forests. Look up to see the more than 30 species of free-flying birds including the great egret, roseate spoonbills, blue herons, and white ibis. The birds nest up in the trees that stretch toward the glass dome.
	Bays & Beaches - Discover sea life from along Florida's coast, such as bonnethead sharks, seahorses, spiny lobsters, stingrays, and a 150-lb. grouper! Don't miss the stingray feedings in this exhibit!
	Coral Reefs - This gallery simulates a 60-foot dive starting in shallow-water reefs and descending to deeper waters. Each viewing window presents a micro habitat, which changes as the depth increases. This exhibit is modeled after the coral formations of the Dry Tortugas off the Florida Keys. Housed in a 500,000 gallon tank, the reef provides the base for this vibrant community of more than 1,600 coral reef residents, representing 60 species, all native to Florida. Meet moray eels, queen angelfish, rainbow parrotfish, and plenty more!
	Ocean Commotion - Using equal parts of innovation, education, and animation, walk through a fog screen and enter a gallery celebrating the most amazing energy of our oceans. Lights, sounds, and interactive content flow through this gallery as you discover sharks, a giant Pacific octopus, cuttlefish, lionfish, frogfish, and more!
	Aquariumania - Discover the history, art, science and fun of keeping pet fish at home. See beautiful exotic fish, play fish games, watch vintage films about pet fish, and meet some real Aquariumaniacs!
	No Bonz Zone - Designed especially for the younger marine enthusiasts, with low tanks and plenty of hands-on opportunities. This unique 1,200-square-foot exhibit is The Aquarium's focus on invertebrates, animals without backbones.
	Explore-A-Shore - The Florida Aquarium's 2-acre outdoor water adventure zone lets the kids cool off while parents relax under the shade of the Tampa Tribune Cantina bar and grill. Watery waves, slippery slides, gushing geysers, and an assortment of animal models are just a few of the attractions for the kids. Toddlers will enjoy sand castles, little slides, and giant sea creature figures as they play in Shipwreck Shore. While the kids enjoy themselves, you can enjoy the comfort of the Cantina with easy viewing of the play area and table service.
