The Wild
Dolphin Adventures trip is a great way to view WILD dolphins in their
natural habitat, swim, snorkel, and explore areas that are only
accessible by boat.

The tours are planned
and conducted carefully so as not to disrupt the dolphin's feeding,
mating, tending to babies or other activities in their natural
habitat.
The CORAL REEFER, a fast twin engine 28' custom built boat,
will take you to what's known as the Dolphin Playground. It is a large
sandy bottomed area about 10' - 15' deep, where dolphins are usually
playing and on the move in search of fish to eat.
In the Gulf of Mexico, you can snorkel and swim where dolphins swim.
By law, people are not allowed to feed or harass the wild dolphins. If
dolphins approach you while snorkeling as opposed to you approaching
them, enjoy the close encounter. Dolphins are very fast swimmers, so
they can move away quickly should they decide to do so.
These tours observe the dolphins in their natural habitat, on their
terms. Encounters depend on what the dolphins are doing, their mood,
and the natural conditions of the habitat. Sometimes they may get
agitated and swim away. In those cases...it's off and away to find a
different group of wild dolphins or go snorkeling a coral reef or
explore a shipwreck. Often when returning to the playground, you will
see beautiful wild dolphins again.
So, pack up your picnic basket (ice and coolers are provided on the
boat), bring your beach gear and have a Wild Dolphin Adventure!
Oh, and don't forget the most important item...polarized sunglasses!
These will help protect your eyes from the water surface glare and
enable you see the dolphins better below the surface. |
