Coastal La Jolla & Torrey Pines Sightseeing Tour itinerary:
12:00 PM -1:00 PM: Travel from Downtown San Diego to La Jolla, including a 25 minute stop for a walking tour at Mount Soledad. Awaiting you will be sweeping ocean and coastal views that can stretch upwards of 100 miles. Your guide will point out fascinating landmarks on the horizon and introduce you to a one-of-a-kind War Memorial, which is home to plaques of famous veterans.
1:00 PM - 2:30 PM: Most guests continue with the tour to stops at the Torrey Pines Golf Course, home to the 2008 U.S. Open, and the Torrey Pines Gliderport, where fearless paragliders fly off ocean cliffs. However, you have the option to get off the tour in the Village of La Jolla for free time to explore the boutique shops and art galleries, enjoy lunch, and watch the sea life playing alongside La Jolla Cove.
2:30 PM - 4:15 PM: Most guests join Tour Guide Tim for a 1 mile, 1.25 hour walking tour past the shops and galleries of the Village, down the hill to La Jolla Cove and over to Children's Pool. You will learn about the seals, sea lions, pelicans, and cormorants as well as hear the stories of the pioneering women who shaped La Jolla into the wonderful place it has become today. However, you have the option to go off on your own to enjoy lunch or explore the area on your own.
4:15 PM - 5:00 PM: Travel through Windansea Beach, Bird Rock, Pacific Beach, and Mission Bay on the return to Downtown San Diego
