Orlando Balloon Rides is the Premier
Balloon Company in Central Florida and is the largest passenger ride
operator on the Eastern seaboard of the United States. They fly
thousands of people a year in balloons specifically designed and
engineered for passenger comfort.
Sunrise flights are scheduled seven days a week, 365 days a year,
weather permitting. Passengers meet one hour prior to sunrise and then
travel to one of many launch sites. Inflation takes about 20 minutes
and then you're airborne!
Fly over beautiful landscapes and lakes where you can soak in the
morning sunrise for the ultimate in exhilarating experiences. A
balloon flight is so calm, it is possible to set a glass of water on a
table in a balloon and not spill a drop.
Once you're in the air your pilot will point out the spectacular sites
of this area. Often there is a view of the theme parks, especially
Disney. The balloons fly over orange groves, cypress forests and
sparkling lakes. See wildlife on the tours such as deer, wild pigs,
alligators and bald eagles! The flying area truly has many wonderful
things to see.
The flight is approximately one hour. However, they can be as short as
45 minutes or as long and one hour and 45 minutes depending on weather
conditions and landing sites. The balloons ascend anywhere from tree
tops to several thousand feet determined by wind speed and direction.
Feel free to bring along a camera or camcorder to record this once in
a lifetime experience!
Once you land and the balloons are stored away, you will toast to your
experience with a Traditional Champagne Toast. Non-alcoholic beverages
are also available. You will then return to the Best Western Lakeside
for an all you can eat breakfast buffet. The passengers are then
presented with a Flight of Ascension certificate by their pilot.
SAFETY IS THE FIRST PRIORITY! Ballooning is dependent upon
favorable weather conditions. Therefore, if conditions are not
favorable for a safe flight, the pilot may reschedule or cancel the
flight. Orlando Balloon Rides has a 100%, unblemished safety record.
They are fully licensed and insured. Their pilots are all FAA
certified, highly experienced and are full time professionals.
