This award-winning Discover NY Guided Day Tour includes stops at Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Madison Square Park, the 9/11 Memorial, as well as a harbor cruise with views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis island, and more!

After a drive through the Times Square area, the original "Soupman" (a restaurant made famous by the Seinfeld TV sitcom) and Columbus Circle and Lincoln Center, where the Metropolitan Opera House and Juilliard Performing Arts School are located, the first stop on the tour is Central Park at West at the Dakota Building (former home of John Lennon). The stop includes a short guided walk into Central Park to visit the Strawberry Fields with the Imagine mosaic dedicated to John Lennon, as well as the views of other sites in the area such as the luxury condominiums that numerous celebrities call home.

The second Stop is Rockefeller Center, for views of St. Patrick's Cathedral, the location of the ice skating rink and Christmas Tree, and NBC's Today Show set.

Your third stop is at Madison Square Park - the original location of Madison Square Garden Arena. This area provides spectacular views of dramatic architecture featured in numerous books and films: the Flatiron Building (Godzilla, Spider-Man), the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company Tower (The Runaway Skyscraper, Futurama), and the Empire State Building (King Kong, Independence Day).

The tour continues with a drive through some of the best-known NYC's neighborhoods, such as Greenwich Village, SoHo, Canal Street in Chinatown, and the Financial districts.

The fourth stop is the World Trade Center, as we visit the 9/11 Memorial. The tour does not include entry into the 9/11 Museum, but visitors can walk the grounds of the Memorial, visit the waterfalls of "Reflecting Absence," (the footprints of where the original twin towers stood), and see the Survivor Tree that stood up to the destruction of 9/11.

Around 1:00 pm, we'll stop for a quick lunch break at the Fulton 55 Market.

The fifth and last stop is at Pier 15 for the 2:30 pm boat cruise (note: in off-season, between Jan 1 - Apr 1, in lieu of boat cruise, guests visit Grand Central Terminal) on the New York Hornblower boat. This 60-minute guided cruise has a concession stand with various snacks and drinks for purchase. You'll experience magnificent views of the Manhattan and Brooklyn skylines, iconic Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Williamsburg bridges, Governor's Island, Ellis Island, and a 360 degree turn in front of the Statue of Liberty for amazing photo opportunities!

Along the way and back to our original departure point on 7th Avenue, we'll see areas of West Village, the new Whitney Museum, the High Line, and the Intrepid Museum and more.
