NBC Studio Tour

Operating Times:

Mon-Sat: From 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Sun: From 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Reservation strongly encouraged to guarantee a specific time and date. E-Ticket will have the details. Closed: Thanksgiving Day & Christmas Day

Depending on the time of year, the tours run every 15 min or every 30 min. In addition, the tours hours are extended during holidays and busy travel times. The tour schedule is always subject to change due to studio schedules. Call Customer Service (the number will be on your eTicket) for the most up to date information.

Please arrive 30 minutes early in the event that there are lines at the tour desk. The tours leave exactly on time and there are no exceptions for late additions.


60-70 Min

Booth Location:

30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, NY 10112. On 49th St between between 5th & 6th Aves. The NBC Studio Tour is conveniently located directly across from Studio 1A, home of the TODAY Show, on the corner of 49th Street and Rockefeller Plaza.

Age Requirements:

Children under the age of 6 will not be permitted on the tour. Child Ticket: 6-12 years. Senior Rate: 65+


Reservations are not required. However, a reservation is the only way to guarantee a specific tour time. Tickets tend to sell out well in advance and a reservation is strongly suggested. The NBC Studio Tour enforces a strict policy of no refunds, no exchanges, and no rescheduling. If a tour is missed, a new ticket would need to be purchased at full price. The tours leave exactly on time and there are no exceptions for late additions. Please inform the reservation specialist at the time of your booking if someone will be utilizing a wheelchair.

Each stop on the tour is accessed by elevators. The staircases are only used in the event of an emergency and may not be used during the regular tour.

30 Rockefeller Plaza is still a very active working environment. It is very important to note that studio visibility is limited to only those studios not being used at the time. They are unable to make any guarantees as to which studios or how many will be available at the time of your tour. Spotting TV Stars is rare, but not impossible!

There are no restrooms for the duration of the tour or inside the NBC Experience Store. It is strongly suggested visiting the restrooms prior to arriving for your tour. In the event that you need to leave the tour for any reason, you will not be permitted to join the tour again.

Photography and video is strictly prohibited. No food, drink, or gum is allowed. In addition, for safety, no large bags or strollers will be allowed on tour. Security strictly prohibits any weapons from entering the building. Weapons are considered anything that the FAA does not allow on an airplane. Coat or bag check is not available.
