Whale Watching Cruises have ended for season.
See you in March!
The New England Aquarium Whale Watching Cruise is your opportunity to see some of the planet's most majestic sea creatures. You can ride in comfort aboard a high-speed vessel that reduces travel time, which gives you more time to view the whales.

Highlights:

  • See whales up close!
  • Narrated by professional researchers
  • Outside decks for optimum viewing
Boston Harbor Cruises proudly offers the only three-hour whale-watching excursion available in the city. Utilizing high-speed catamarans, this seasonal cruise requires less travel time to reach the 638-square-nautical-mile Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary. Quicker travel provides more time for up-close views of humpback, beluga, pilot and Northern Atlantic Right whales in this remarkable habitat. The rich feeding ground is also home to great white sharks, puffins, white-beaked dolphins and leatherback sea turtles.

A naturalist trained by the New England Aquarium, the area's preeminent authority on whales, accompanies each tour. These knowledgeable guides ensure that each voyage is an amazing educational experience and journey of discovery.

Boasting three outdoor observation decks for maximum viewing, the catamaran also has an enclosed climate-controlled cabin with cushioned seats, tables and a high-tech audio-visual system. Passengers can purchase a variety of snacks and drinks from the galley.

You are encouraged to make your New England Aquarium and Whale Watching Cruise reservation as soon as possible, especially if you want a particular day and time.

An eTicket also simplifies dockside check-in.
